Who Am I?
Who Am I?
I’m Deborah (D'Vorah) McDougall — a girl from Jersey with big dreams, a love for the stars, and a mission that’s bigger than myself. I’m studying Astrophysics at Columbia University, working toward becoming an astronaut, and building a life that blends science, storytelling, and service.
By day, I’m designing flyers, tutoring students in math, and hosting a podcast about space. By night, I’m writing essays that reclaim Black history and editing videos for my YouTube channel, "Sincerely, D’Vorah". Everything I do — whether it’s creative or academic — is driven by one purpose: to make knowledge accessible, empower others, and bring truth to light with care and intention.
This journey isn’t just mine — I carry my community with me with every step I take, and I’m committed to making sure we all have a seat at the table… or a seat on the rocket 🚀
