Aspiring Astrophysicist | Student Researcher
Welcome to my academic portfolio. I am a student at Columbia University pursuing a bachelor's degree in Astrophysics. I am currently exploring the origins of stars and planets as potential research projects. I am an aspiring astrophysicist and future astronaut who wants to discover the origin of the universe and everything in it and to make space science accessible to everyone.
My academic work is driven by a desire to understand our origins; the more we understand the last frontier, the more we understand ourselves. I am especially drawn to the connection we have with stars and how their life and death contribute to the existence of everything in space.
I am currently working under Marcel Agueros to find a research project that best aligns with my interests, and I am also working on a solo project to become familiar with being an independent researcher.
I approach my research with a focus on connecting scientific data to real human questions about our place in the universe. My work is grounded in the belief that everyone who lives in this universe should have the opportunity to learn about it.
This portfolio will include samples of my research, work experience, programming skills, certifications, and science communication efforts.
